Local Attractions   

Bundjalung National Park makes up the largest stretch of protected coastline in NSW.  It runs from the Northern edge of Iluka to Evans Head.                                                              Rainforestwalk

Iluka Nature Reserve is a World Heritage listed Gondwana rainforest.  It contains the largest remnant of littoral seaside rainforest in NSW.  A beautiful nature walk (pictured) starting at Long Street takes you through the rainforest and comes out at Bluff Beach.  The walk is an easy 2.5km and is wheelchair accessable.

                                                                         

    

 Bluff Beach is a gorgeous place to spend your time.  The rainforest walk leads to here or it can be reached via Bluff Road.  The picnic area has a whale watching platform with 360 degree views of the area.  Whales an be observed travelling north from April to June and returning with young in early spring.  Bluff Beach offers car parking, picnic tables, toilets and information displays.  The beach is patrolled in Peak holiday periods.

 Surfing Hot Spots are North Wall (pictured), Bluff Beach, Frazers Reef and Shark Bay which has 4 wheel drive access. 

                                                       

 

 Fishing Hot Spots are Bluff Beach, Frazers Reef and The Clarence River (both pictured), Back Beach and The Jetty at Charlie Ryan Park. 

                              

Charlie Ryan Park is a popular picnic and playground area located approx. 100 metres from GreenWood House.  The park offers BBQs, Toilets, a netted swimming enclosure, playground and scenic boardwalk which takes you all the way to Sedgers Reef Hotel and the Clarence Fisherman's Co-op.
